Pastor Ben LaPlace

God began planting the seed for the vision that drives Ebenezer's when Ben was a young child. What began then as a sense that there had to be something more has now grown through years of tiral and struggle into the dream that fuels the church today. Ben has a strong heart for the church, to see her rise up to become all she is intended to be, to shed the things that keep her from being who she truly is and to press in to the invitation God is laying before her. Ben is the one who continues to paint the picture for the community of where God is taking us and what He is seeking to do in our midst. He does this through teaching at our gatherings, creative expressions of art, music, leading groups of men on spiritual retreats, roasting coffee and pouring latte's. He has been married to his wife Angela for 10 years and together they have two beautiful sons, Dylan and Grahm. Ben is also an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene.
