Pastor Ben LaPlaceGod began planting the seed for the vision that drives Ebenezer's when Ben was a young child. What began then as a sense that there had to be something more has now grown through years of tiral and struggle into the dream that fuels the church today. Ben has a strong heart for the church, to see her rise up to become all she is intended to be, to shed the things that keep her from being who she truly is and to press in to the invitation God is laying before her. Ben is the one who continues to paint the picture for the community of where God is taking us and what He is seeking to do in our midst. He does this through teaching at our gatherings, creative expressions of art, music, leading groups of men on spiritual retreats, roasting coffee and pouring latte's. He has been married to his wife Angela for 9 years and together they have two beautiful sons, Dylan and Grahm. Ben is also an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene. |
Angela LaPlaceAngela has always been passionate about music. For her, it has always been an opportunity to express the things deep inside you can't always put words to. God has not only blessed her with a beautiful voice but has also given her an incredible ability to connect with those she leads in worship. Her transparency, vulnerability and passion seem to reach through the music beckoning you to join her and allow your heart to be opened to what God desires to do. Not only does she lead worship during our gatherings, but also works to connect with local artists and coordinate periodic events. |
Chad SeabrightGod's call on Chad's life has led him down many different paths. He has been a Youth Pastor, Intern Co-ordinator, Software Programmer, and Evangelist. As he has walked in the midst of each of these roles God has been developing and revealing who Chad really is, who God has created him to be. Chad has a word for the Church today. But he is not satisfied with simply speaking it, he desires to see it become a reality in people's lives. Chad is passionate about walking arm in arm with people, discovering how Truth is seeking to become real in their lives. He does this through teaching at our gatherings, coordinating our discipleship opportunities, traveling as an Evangelist, and dominating in "Peanuts". He has been married to his wife Brooke for 7 years and is finishing up classes to become an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. |
